Alan Hughes

Alan Walter Hughes, 62, of Lawrenceburg, died Friday, August 6, 2021 at his residence.

He was born in Frankfort, KY to the late Albert Walter and Rosemary Miller Hughes. He was a graduate of Anderson High School and retired from Florida Tile where he worked for 31 years.

Mr. Hughes is survived by his two brothers, Jerry (Lisa) Hughes and David (Rhonda) Hughes, of Lawrenceburg; nieces and nephews, Beth Hughes Willoughby; Taylor (Payton) Hughes, Justin (Kelcie) Hughes, and Katelyn Hughes Cooper; great nieces and nephews, Anna and Ethan Willoughby, Kensley Hughes, Hunter and Callie Hughes, and Brooklyn Cooper.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by sister-in-law, Carolyn Hughes; nephews, Allen Dennis and Albert Waylon Hughes; and great niece, Ryleigh Ann Cooper.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August, 10, 2021 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Dr. Mike Hamrick officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11-1 p.m. on Tuesday prior to the service.

Casket bearers will be Jimmy Simpson, Mikey Simpson, Kenny Pollett, Beth Willoughby, Taylor Hughes, Mark Redmon, Justin Hughes, Katelyn Cooper, Logan Scott and Robbie Peach.
