Albert Eugene Slucher, 97, of Phoenix, passed away on November 5, 2018. Albert was born to Emmett and Corneila (Armstrong) Slucher on March 28, 1921 in Graefenburg, Kentucky where he was raised and educated. He went ot work on the family farm due to family illnesses and worked there for 2 years until married Dorothy Sullivan. They had two children, Albert and Perry Slucher. Albert worked for Shakley Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky until 1960 when they moved to Phoenix, Arizona. He then worked as a carpenter until he retired in 1985. He then took care of his wife until she passed in 2000. Albert was known as the peanut brittle man. He made peanut brittle and sold it until 3 years ago. Albert will be laid to rest in Frankfort, Kentucky.
