Amelia Sue Keller, 5 months, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018. She was born in Lexington on December 6, 2017 to Micheal and Georgia Keller.
Amelia was born with a rare genetic condition called semi-lobar holoprosencephaly. Babies with her diagnosis often do not survive birth, but Amelia fought and was with us for five beautiful months.
Her parents believed that she deserved the right to live; and live she did! Her life, although too short, was brighter and bigger than anyone could have anticipated.
Amelia was an opinionated little princess who loved snuggles and songs and adored her big brother, David, who was her biggest fan. She touched many lives and is now safe in the arms of Jesus.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, David Keller; her paternal grandparents, Jeff and Kelly Douglas, Frankfort; her maternal grandparents, Karen and Tim Sams, Frankfort; her great grandparents, Virgil and Barbara Ridings, Frankfort, David and Carroll Bennett, MI, and Phyllis McLaughlin, Frankfort; her aunts, Rebecca Sams, Frankfort, Catherine (Ben) Banta, Bedford, and Sabrina (Cody) Zufelt, Utah; her uncles, Joel (Brittany) Sams, Lexington, Ronnie (Cierla) Sams, AL, Robbie Sams, Wilmore, James Sams, Frankfort, Daniel Sams, Elijah Douglas, Frankfort, Austin Douglas, Frankfort, and Xavier Douglas, Frankfort; as well as numerous cousins.
