Bobby Ray Manley, 53, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021. The husband of Laura Merryfield Manley, Bobby was born July 2, 1967 to the late William and Jane Dews Hellard in Frankfort, Kentucky. A jack of all trades, he was the owner of Bobby’s Maintenance and the family handyman. He loved his family, especially his grandbabies, and was always up for entertaining. Bonfires, chili, hot wings, and lots of laughs were a guarantee. Bobby was just a country boy who loved to drive around in his big red truck, ride go carts, go four wheeling, and head down to Tennessee when he could. He is going to be dearly missed by his family, friends, and beloved dog, Macy.
In addition to his wife of almost 12 years, Laura Manley, Bobby is survived by his children, Angel Manley of Frankfort and Justin Barnes of Frankfort; step children, Amanda Nwamkpa of Georgetown and Joseph Leavitt of Frankfort; sisters, Alice (Terrance) Hocker of Frankfort and Beverly Manley of Frankfort; 13 grandchildren; and last but not least, his dog Macy.
A Funeral Service will be held 2:00p, Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd, Frankfort, with entombment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Jeremy Manley, Brandon Manley, Terrence Hocker, Jacob Murray, Ricky Blankenship, and Cameron Boyle.
