Carole Mathers

Carole was born in Frankfort on February 11, 1945, the daughter of Lenny Clifford and
Esther Ueltschi Mathers. She was a former employee of Kentucky State Government working in various state agencies. Carole was a member of East Frankfort Baptist Church enjoying many of the activities and preparing meals for church gatherings. She was an avid reader and participated in many community projects throughout her life. Carole was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister always involved in her family's interests.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Rick Mathers.

Carole leaves behind her sons, Douglas Smith (Stacy), David C. Smith (Teresa); her daughter, Dana Smith (Jennifer). She was blessed to be "Mimi" to grandchildren Dylan, Shelby, Chaynee, Carter, Morgan and Savannah. Also surviving are brother, Frederick C. Mathers (Jewell); nephew, Mark Mathers; nieces, April Brown and Lisa Mathers; and best friend and caregiver, Jane Boler.
