Cheryl Cardwell

Cheryl Duncan Cardwell, 73, wife of Aaron Nash Cardwell, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. A native of Frankfort, she was born on July 1, 1947 to the late Robert and Jeanette Goins Howard. She retired from the State of Kentucky and was a member of Journey Church.

In addition to her husband, she was survived by her son, Chris (Elizabeth) Duncan, Prospect; her step-children, Ashley Cardwell, Bardstown, and Rachael Sparrow, Scott Co.; her brothers, Doug (Geneva) Howard, and Terry (Desi) Howard, both of Frankfort; her grandchildren, Alex, Sarah, Millie, and Thomas Duncan; 4 step grandchildren; and 1 step great grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandchild, Elora Duncan.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30pm on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with Gary Brown officiating. Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 1:30pm until 3:30pm on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kosair Children’s Hospital.
