Obituary for David Lee Rudder

David Lee Rudder, 74, husband to Carolyn Rudder, died Sunday February 17th, 2019 in Lexington. David was born in Frankfort on July 4th, 1944 to the late Lee Thomas and Lillie Meredith Rudder. He was retired from Greenheck in Frankfort as a mechanical engineer. In addition to his wife he is survived his children, Alison (Josh) Hurst, Carlisle, KY, Craig (Melike) McFarland, Lexington, sisters, Audrey Kemper and Lois Reading, Frankfort, grandchildren, Kelseigh Newman, Leia Hurst and Roy Hurst, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael David Rudder, his first wife, Brenda Young Rudder and brother, Franklin Rudder. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be Friday from 4 until 6pm at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road; followed by a memorial service at 6pm. Rev. Richard Summers will officiate. Memorial contributions are suggested to the First Baptist Church, St. Clair Street, Frankfort, or a charity of your choice.
