David Wilhoite

Frankfort - David Ray Wilhoite, age 52, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2017, in Louisville. Services for Mr. Wilhoite will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at 2:30 p.m. with Bro. Don Karsner officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home at 11:30 a.m. until service time on Wednesday, February 15, 2017.

Mr. Wilhoite was born in Frankfort on October 28, 1964 to the late William David and Betty Mae Gaines Wilhoite and raised in Owenton. He was an employee of C. Logic and a member of Camp Pleasant Baptist Church. He was a loving and godly man who cherished his family and children. Anyone who met him, liked him, and never failed to recognize his selflessness and huge heart. He never missed his children's sports activities and always worked hard to provide for his family.

He is survived by his wife, Christina Andrea Harmon; his children, Dylan Wilhoite and Mackenzie Wilhoite; his sisters, Vickie (Steve) Steger and Valerie (Ricky) McEntire; his nieces and nephews, Mary Beth Steger, John Travis Steger and Aaron Webster; his great-nephew, Waylon Webster; by his uncles, Donald Gaines (Sue), Bobby Gaines, and Charlie Wilhoite (Iva); and aunt, Rosemary Gaines. He was also blessed with his beloved dog, Fancy.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dylan Wilhoite, Steve Steger, John Travis Steger, Aaron Webster, Ricky McEntire, and Mitchell Gaines.
