Frankfort - Dennis Dale Blair, age 78, passed away at home on Sunday, February 19, 2017. Services will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Bro. Don Karsner officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Mr. Blair was born in Missouri, on February 10, 1939. He was united in marriage to his wife, Barbara Elizabeth Reed Blair, of Frankfort. He retired from the City of Frankfort as a Plant Operator and worked at Frank F. Taylor for 15 years. He was a steel guitarist for Arnold Clarks Band and Camp Pleasant Baptist Church. For 16 years, he played at Alton Jamboree on Friday Nights.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Blair Hardin; by his siblings, Stephen Ellis, Margarette Munford and Harold Blair.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Douglas Dale (Crissy) Blair, Donna Sue Blair and Deborah (Rex) Cunigan, all of Frankfort; his sisters, Eyvonne Reed, of Missouri and Pauline Hellard, of Florida; his grandchildren, Andrew Shaun Cunigan, Christopher Dale Cunigan, and Elizabeth Nichole Cunigan; and by his great-grandchildren, Alexis Jeffries, Johnathon Jeffries, Ethan Bales, Wesley Wainscott, Noah Riddle and Trenton Riddle.

Serving as pallbearers will be Doug Blair, Chris Cunigan, Ricky Carrier, John Tanner, Rex Cunigan and Bozorgz Mansoor.

Arrangements are under the direction of Harrod Brothers Funeral Home.
