Edward Coffey

Edward Lee Coffey, age 67, passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021. Services will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home on Monday, July 26, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Dan Luttrell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 25, 2021.
Lovingly known as “Ed,” he was born in Berea, Kentucky, on March 31, 1954, to Fred Edward Coffey and Alice Christine Bullins Coffey. He worked at Whitehouse Concrete. Ed enjoyed fishing and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Above all, he loved his family dearly.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Lisa Gibson Coffey; mother, Alice Christine Bullins Coffey; children, Catie Coffey, Ryan Coffey, Tyler Coffey, Elaine Lewis (Matt Martin), Eddie Coffey, and Michelle Coffey; grandchildren, Ron Lewis, Ricky Lewis, and Donovan Coffey; great-grandchildren, Anna O’Donnell and A.J. Lewis; and siblings, Noel Coffey (Crystal), Billy Coffey (Debbie), Matthew Coffey (Laura), Christine Bristow (Skeeter), and Steve Coffey (Debbie). He was also blessed with a special cousin, James Mitchell, several nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Edward Coffey and brother, Bobby Coffey.
Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher McAskill, Jeff Bristow, Jake Johnson-Morrow; Ron Lewis, Billy Coffey, and Andrew Bristow.
