Ethelyn Nash

Mrs. Nash was born in Frankfort on December 23, 1924, to the late Arthur Shy and Emma Howard Gardner. She was united in marriage to John Thomas Nash, who also preceded her in death. She retired as a Supervisor from South Central Bell after 45 years of service. She was a faithful member of Evergreen Baptist Church, where she enjoyed many years teaching Sunday school. She enjoyed traveling, doing crafts with her sister, and time spent with her family.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her siblings, Robert "Jiggs" Gardner, George "Buster" Gardener, Flora Peggy Knight, Lillian "Ikie" Bradley and Edythe "Babe" Harrod and by her beloved poodle, "Little Boy."
She is survived by her daughter, Terri Lynn Sorrell (Larry); grandson, Jonathon Sorrell (Crystal); and great grandchild, Cadence Marie Sorrell. She was also blessed with many nieces and nephews.
