Eugene Clark

Eugene Harbor Clark, 92, husband of the late Dorothy Dean Clark, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the VA Medical Center-Cooper Drive in Lexington, KY. He was born on January 12, 1925 son of the late Thomas and Bottia Harbor Clark in Tremont, Mississippi where he graduated from Tremont High School before joining the United States Navy. While serving in the US Navy Eugene was stationed at Pearl Harbor during the time of the attack. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion in Milan, TN and a member of Meadowthorpe Baptist Church in Lexington, KY. Eugene was employed as a HVAC Tech for L. R. Gregory in Frankfort, KY for more than 35 years, after retiring he worked for 20 years at Main Street Hardware in Versailles.

In addition to his wife of 37 years and parents Eugene was preceded in death by his son, Charles Richard Beasley, and a grandchild, Kayla Bostic.

He is survived by step-daughters, Terri Ann (Albert) Perry, Lexington, KY, Sheri Ann (Chuck) Hendricks, Lawrenceburg, KY, sister, Merlene Fox and brother, Max Clark both of Mississippi, seven grandchildren, Taylor Brooks, Brannon Brooks, Delaine Riley, Travis Beasley, Rachael Darnell, Katie Beasley, Dalton Beasley, and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services are 1:00 pm, Monday, September 11, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
