Franklin Younger

Franklin Younger, 73, husband of Peggy Younger, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2020. A native of Frankfort, he was born on January 2, 1947 to the late Roy and Mary Helen Perkins Younger. He was a service technician for Sears and was a Veteran of the US Air Force, having served in the Vietnam Era. Franklin was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church and the Hiram Masonic Lodge # 4 F& AM. He was a member of Hiram 93 OEC and Frankfort York Rite Bodies.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Stephen Phillips, Mayfield, Carol (Bert) Keil, OH, Tim Younger, Frankfort, and Michelle Younger, Frankfort; his siblings, Cole Younger, Patricia Ralston, and Mike Younger; his grandchildren, Heather Perkins, Lauren Miller, Alyssa Keil, Abby Phillips, and Christopher Keil; and 5 great grandchildren.
Private services will be held at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with a burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Masonic Home of Shelbyville.
