Harold Patton

Harold Thomas Patton, 82, widower of Lois Patton, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2019. He was born in Paintsville on September 13, 1936 to the late Thomas Dewey and Ethel Collins Patton. Harold worked for Commonwealth Life Insurance as the Agency Manager. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force; family historian, loving husband, father, and grandfather. Harold loved photography, telling stories, and babysitting his grandchildren.
He is survived by his sons, Mark (Linda) Patton, Paducah, and Phillip (Bethany) Patton, Frankfort; his sisters, Joy Franz, Ashland, and Mary Evelyn (Kenny) McCormick, California; his grandchildren, Myrissa (Jason) Ritter, Kayla (Nathan) Dudley, and Kara Patton; step granddaughter, Brandon Ratliff; his 4 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Sue Hamby; and his brothers, Charles Franis Patton, and Dewey Martin Patton.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Pastor Rick Curry will be officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Jason Ritter, Nathan Dudley, Kevin McCormick, Michael Patton, Jonathan Tuttle, and David Tuttle. Honorary casketbearers will be David Wilson White and Dewey Martin Patton, Jr. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the K9s for Warriors.
