Helen Sims

Helen M. Sims, 98, widow of Vernon Lee Sims, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2019. She was born in Harrodsburg on October 28, 1921 to the late Hugh and Leona Ruth Poulter Murphy. She was a member of Millville Christian Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Jacquelynn Sue Sims, Frankfort; her son, Henry Douglas Sims, Frankfort; her brother, Henry Hugh Murphy, Cincinnati; 9 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Louise Brown; and her sons, Vernon Lee Sims Jr., and Jerry Lee Sims.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Pastor Tim Jumpp will be officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until 1:00pm on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the funeral home.
