Herman May Jr.

Herman Lee May, Jr., age 79, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021. Services will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Napier officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. service time on Tuesday.
Mr. May was born in Frankfort on September 7, 1941, to the late Herman Lee May, Sr., and Pauline Grey Craig May. He retired from the Stewart Home School after serving many years as a bus driver. In his spare time, he was an avid card player.
He is survived by his children, Ricky May (Lee Ann), Anthony May, and Herman Douglas May; siblings, Floyd May, Steve May, Mike May, Carolyn May, and Shirley May; grandchildren, Brian, Eric, Brandon, Corey, Kadie, and Dylan May; and great-grandchildren, Bryson May, Eric May, Jr., Caleb May, and Paxton May.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Oletta Herrell May, daughter, Kathy Meadows; siblings, Bill May and Scotty May; and by a special friend, Carolyn Cline.
Serving as pallbearers will be Steve May, Floyd May, Brian May, Brandon May, Corey May, and Steve Cummins.
