VERSAILLES- Hurshel F. Brown, 93, husband of the late Mary Louise Tate Brown, died Thursday, February 23, 2017. He was born in Casey County to the late Oscar and Ruth Games Brown on July 22, 1923. Mr. Brown was the owner of Brown's T.V. and Appliance Sales. He also was a veteran of the United States Navy, a member of the American Legion Post #67 and a member of Versailles United Methodist Church. He is survived by his children, Connie S. (Stephen) Barnett and Roy Wayne Brown, both of Versailles; his sisters, Christine Taylor, IN and Aline Mosley, Danville; his brother, Kenneth Brown, Mt. Sterling; and his granddaughter, Corinne Barnett.
