Obituary for Jewell Sheets Rhody
Funeral services for Jewell S. Rhody, 80, of Frankfort will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, at LeCompte Johnson Taylor Funeral Home. Brother Ronnie McKinney will officiate. Visitation will be held Friday 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rhody passed away Monday at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. A native of Frankfort she served her career as an executive secretary for the Public Service Commission, attended First Christian Church and was a member and officer of Heritage Women's Club. Jewell enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, gardening, reading and traveling to Hawaii. She was an amazing wife, mother and all around homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ethel Mae Eastman and Roy Lee Sheets and seven brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Douglas E. Rhody, Frankfort; daughter Marcy Rhody, Hawaii, sons Brent E. (Debra) Rhody, Frankfort and Kevin S. (Lubov) Rhody, South Carolina; a brother, John Sheets, Frankfort, seven grandchildren Stephen Rhody, Olivia Rhody, Carly Rhody, Brett Workman, Ryan Rhody, Jason Rhody and Hannah Rhody; four great grandchildren.
