Jim Colyer

Jim Colyer, 63, widower of Sandalyn Kay Colyer, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020. A native of Frankfort, he was born on December 26, 1956 to Ann Barber Colyer and the late Richard Leigh Colyer. He retired from Columbia Gas and was a Veteran of the US Navy. Jim was an auto mechanic for many years and a former airplane service technician. He served on the USS Nimitz.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Melissa Ann Colyer; his son, James L. Colyer Jr.; and his grandchildren, James Chester Lewis, Matthew Allen Lewis, and James Colyer III.
Graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Jim’s son James L. Colyer Jr. will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
