Karen Newman

Karen Ann Newman, age 55, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 30, 2018. She was born in Frankfort, Kentucky on June 1, 1962. Karen was a loyal employee for thirty-seven years of Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
Karen is survived by her loving parents, Bill and Patricia Newman of Frankfort; sister, Sherry Newman Holder and husband, Barry K. Holder Jr.; and beloved niece, Lauren Newman Holder. She is also survived by her aunts, Noreen (Charles) Brandenburg of Georgetown; Delores Morrison of Fairfield, Ohio; Jeanetta (Herman) McKinney of Morning Sun, Ohio; and uncle, Danny (Wilma) Hoover of Irvine, Kentucky; and numerous cousins. She is also blessed with a best friend, Gena Baker Hartley; longtime friend, Tonya Mattingly and coworker and friend, Tammie Stamper.
She was preceded in death by her very good friend, Mary Peach of Lawrenceburg, who she missed tremendously.
She was known for her loving, caring, and generous acts of kindness to everyone. She was the best "Aunt Karen" anyone could ever have. Karen was a loving, wonderful and devoted daughter, and a fabulous sister and sister-in-law.
