Larry Curry

Larry Thomas Curry, Sr., 86, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018.

Services for Mr. Curry will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home on Friday, January 4, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. David Smith officiating. Burial and military honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home on Thursday, January 3, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Larry was born in Frankfort on June 28, 1932, to the late James and Levina Poynter Curry. He was united in marriage to Henrietta Wright Curry for 56 years. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean War. He was the owner and driver for C & C Trucking. Larry enjoyed the outdoors, working in his shop and watching western and sci-fi movies.

He is survived by his loving wife, Henrietta; six children, Theresa Anne Perrin (Ricky), Regina Lynn Smith, Larry T. Curry, Jr., Darryl G. Curry, Lisa Anne Hutcherson (Ken) and Melissa Faye Anglin (Jeff).
He was also blessed to have 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy and Clarence Deakins and two sisters, Betty Huston and Billie Scott.

His grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Arrangements are under the direction of Harrod Brothers Funeral Home.
