Obituary for Larry Thomas Jewell

Larry Thomas Jewell, age 66, husband to Patsy Sanderson Jewell passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018 in Versailles, Kentucky. He was born July 18, 1952 to the late Clayton Fielding Jewell Sr. and Virginia Wilson Jewell in Mt. Sterling Kentucky. He retired as a welder at Clark Equipment, was a member of Duckers Baptist Church and attended Versailles Baptist Church in Versailles. Larry enjoyed mechanic work, he loved working on cars and especially he loved his orange Vega. He liked photography, camping and fishing. Most of all, Larry loved spending time with his grandchildren. Larry was a family man and always made sure you knew you were loved.

In addition to his wife, Patsy, he is survived by his children, Brian (Rachel) Jewell of Georgetown, Kentucky, Kim (Eric) Cox of Frankfort, Kentucky and Jinny Jewell of Versailles, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Jayden Kelly, Lexie Jewell, Logan Cox and Anna Jewell. He is also survived by his brother Clayton (Regina) Jewell Jr. of Versailles, Kentucky and mother in law, Mary Jane Sanderson of Versailles, Kentucky

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 5 to 8 at Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home, in Georgetown with a 11 am service on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the funeral home with Rev. Walter Sanderson officiating. Burial will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Versailles, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be Brian Jewell, Mark Jewell, Terry Wilson, Tim Holbrook, Eric Cox and Ben Montgomery Jr. Honorary bearers will be Clayton Jewell Jr and Jim Young.
