Linda Franklin

Linda M. Franklin, 81, passed away February 26, 2021. Born on June 10, 1939 in Lawrenceburg, KY to the late Guy and Nellie Martin Moffett. Linda graduated from Anderson county High school and was a member of Gardenside Baptist Church for over 60 years. She was a Sunday school teacher and loved attending many sporting events to support her children and grandchildren’s athletic endeavors. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hollis A. Franklin. Linda is survived by her three sons, Kevin (Chris) Franklin, Keenan (Angel) Franklin and Guy Kent (Christy) Franklin; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Sarah, Brooke, Guy Kent (Ami), Heather, Kayla and Katie Franklin; three great-grandchildren and one on the way, it’s a boy; a brother, Kenny Moffett; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 12PM Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Kerr Brothers – Harrodsburg Road with visitation starting at 11AM until the service starts. Burial is at 2:30PM Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Frankfort, KY. Pallbearers include her beloved grandchildren.
