Lula Hillard

Lula Belle Hillard, 90, widow of Bill Hillard, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. She was a native of Frankfort and was born on May 6, 1927 to the late William and Pearl Shingleton Hedden. She was a member of Victory Chapel for 50 years where she served as the secretary and treasurer for 35 years. Lula retired from Franklin County Public Schools as a bus driver. She was the 1st female bus driver in Franklin County.
She is survived by her daughters, Reeda (Tony) Payton - Tackett, Frankfort; Lillian Johnson, Frankfort; her son, Doug (Judy) Hillard, Georgetown; her 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and numerous great great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Corrine.
