Olson Woodside

Olson P. Woodside, 76, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2019. The husband of Kathleen Wingate Woodside, he was born March 30, 1943 to the late Delmar Berry and Hattie Bell Martin Woodside in Versailles, Kentucky.

In addition to his wife Kathy, he leaves behind his daughter, Sherry Woodside, Frankfort; sons, Mike Woodside, Frankfort and Tommy (Suzanne) Woodside, Frankfort; and a niece, Beth Garrett Gribbons. The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to his caregivers, Cathy Shelton Monroe, Lisa Goodlett, and Tamren Clay.
Olson was preceded in death by his parents, Delmar Berry and Hattie Bell, as well as his sisters, Barbara Woodside and Carol Garrett; brother, Kelly Woodside; and a grandson, Andrew Thomas Woodside.

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00a, Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd, Frankfort, with Rev. Todd Lester officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons, Aaron Stratton, Levi Woodside, Kyle Woodside, Shane Woodside, Tanner Woodside, and Logan Gabbard. Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers, Amber Carmack, Ashley (Chris) Ford, Shayla Durham, Trace Woodside, Addison Carmack, Lane Parker, Willow Ford, and Grayson Allnut. A Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00p, Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at the funeral home.
