Patricia McDonald

Patricia Moore McDonald, 89, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018. She was the widow of the late Kenneth C. McDonald.

Patricia was born in Frankfort on October 28, 1928 to the late Forest B. and Leilah Newman Moore. A graduate of Frankfort High School, she first worked at the Market House and later retired from work as a postal clerk for the U.S. Postal Service. She was a member of the Providence Baptist Church and an avid collector, having several booths in and around Frankfort.

Patricia is survived by a daughter, Leah McDonald Hammond; a son, Kenneth Berry McDonald; two sisters, Gertrude Moore Laing and Sarah Moore Shearer; a brother, Herman F. Moore; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two sons, Richard and Joseph McDonald.

Services will be held at Rogers Funeral Home at 12:00 pm Monday, March 19th with visitation preceding at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
