Ralph Moore

R.W. was born in Frankfort on June 18, 1923, to the late Alonzo Moore and Emma McDonald Gay. He was united in marriage to his loving wife of 43 years, Barbara Lois Lippert Moore, who passed away June 12, 2015. R. W. was a proud veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and retired with the rank of Sergeant from the City of Frankfort Police Department. He enjoyed fishing, vegetable gardening and was an avid John Wayne fan. R. W. was a "family man" and looked forward to visits from the children and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Howard Moore and a sister, Marjorie Bickers.

R. W. is survived by children, Marilyn Kay Mitchell, Patricia Ann Hulker, Harold Newnam, Janice Cohorn (Dallas) and Macie Newman (Lora); a brother, William Moore (Joan); 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
