Ray Butler

He died Monday at University of Kentucky Hospice Care Center. A native of Frankfort, he served in the United States Army and was a self-employed contractor.

He was the son of the late Loury Jesse and Lillie Hampton Musselman Butler.
He was preceded in death by a son Brian Butler, his first wife Phyllis Rogers; siblings Stanley, John Chilton, Roy, Carrie Wingate and infants John Robert, Geneva and Jeanne Butler.

Survivors include his wife Barbara Butler, Frankfort; son Greg (Lupi) Butler, CA; daughter Beth (Rod) Kido, Renten,Washington; four step children Mark (Geri) Blackburn, Bedford, VA, Sarah (Gil) Woodall, Hendersonville, TN, William (Stephanie) Blackburn, Bowling Green, KY, Virginia (Brad) Griffin, Fort Worth, TX; eleven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
