Robert Hendricks

Robert Thomas "Tommy" Hendricks, 86, widower of Rita Tupts Hendricks, died Sunday, April 1 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Born in Woodford County, he was a son of the late Henry T. and Litha Wise Hendricks, was a graduate of the Versailles High School, and a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Tommy was a long time member of the Versailles Baptist Church and was an avid golfer. For many years, he was a co-owner of Tommy and Gene's Ashland Service Station on Clay's Mill Road in Lexington. He also served as a meter reader for the South Woodford Water District. Survivors include two daughters, Laura Gayle (Ray) Comeaux of Mt. City, TN and Sarah Suzanne Hendricks of Versailles, three grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
