Ronald E. Toy, Jr., husband of Beverly Toy, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021. A native of Lexington, he was born on March 26, 1951 to the late Ronald E. and Bettye Ann Gunther Toy. He worked for Arts Electric as and Electrical Design Engineer. Ronald was a Veteran of the US Airforce and served with the Military Police. He was a member of the Assembly of God. Ronald was an avid Nascar fan and loved music. Ronald enjoyed playing the steel guitar and the drums. He met his wife through music. Ronald would play the drums and Beverly would sing. He was an engineer by day and musician by night. While he attended Kingsway, he was involved with their music program.
In addition to his wife of 49 years, he is survived by his daughter, Rebekah (Matthew) Bishop, NC; his sons, Travis (Jennifer) Toy, Nashville, and Mark (Amber) Toy, Frankfort; and his grandchildren, Josiah, Salem, Adrianna, Kaitlyn, Aiden, and Gabriel.
Celebration of Ronald’s life will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Visitation will be held from 1:00pm until the time of service on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of the Bluegrass or the Woodford County Humane Society.
