Obituary for Rosalie Greenup
Rosalie Lynn Greenup, 90, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 2, 2017. Graveside services for Mrs. Greenup will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2017 in the chapel of Sunset Memorial Gardens. Rev. Everett Hawkins will officiate. There will be no visitation.
Mrs. Greenup was born in Frankfort on July 17, 1926, the daughter of the late Harvey C. and Nellie Kate Calvert Lynn. Mrs. Greenup was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William H. Greenup; sons, Thomas L. Greenup and William L. Greenup; and her six siblings.
Survivors included a special daughter-in-law, Barbara Greenup; three grandchildren; several great grandchildren; her loving caregiver and niece, Wanda R. Holder; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express appreciation to the staff of Frankfort Care and Rehabilitation Center (Golden Living Center) for the compassionate care shown Rosalie.
