Ruby Akins Bryant

Ruby Ellen Akins Bryant, age 89, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021. Graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor James Bondurant officiating. Visitation will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

Mrs. Bryant was born in Lawrenceburg on April 7, 1932, to the late Claude and Hattie Akins. She retired from Fruit of the Loom after 30 years of service and retired again from Save-A-Lot after 20 years working as a cashier. She was the wife of Herbert Bryant, Sr., who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her loving family and friends.
