Obituary for Sylvia Perry Goins

Lawrenceburg - Services for Sylvia Perry Goins will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home Friday, September 7, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Bob Ehr officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home on Thursday, September 6, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Mrs. Goins passed away Monday, September 3, 2018.
A native of Anderson County, she lived in Franklin County for over 50 years. She worked for General Shoe Company, Southern Molding, and H. K. Porters Company for many years. She was a faithful member of Lawrenceburg First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Collins (Frank); twin sons, Ronald Goins (Janet) and Donald Goins (Pat); and five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was also blessed with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Thomas Goins; her parents, Leslie Everett and Agnes Alberta Cooper Perry; siblings, Albert, Gerald, Pat, Tommy, and Coleman Perry, Thelma McDonald, Betty Wright and Linda Henderson.
Serving as pallbearers will be Grant Riggs, Brian Temple, Rob Perry, John Sawyer, Randall Johnson, and Tommy Goins. Honorary pallbearers will be Wallace and Wilma Thompson, Joyce Royalty, and Alice Woodard.
Flowers are welcome and expressions of sympathy may be made to Lawrenceburg First Baptist Church Building Fund, 111 N. Main Street, Lawrenceburg, Kentucky 40342.
