Willena Smith

Willena Smith, 86, widow of George Robert Smith Jr., passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. She was born in Clay County on July 26, 1933 to the late Eldred and Jeanette Smith Lewis. She worked for Texas Instruments and was a member of Lexington Church of God.
She is survived by her daughters, Nanette (Joe) Conway, Frankfort and Belinda Jo Smith, Owingsville; her son, Ret. Col. George R. Smith III, VA; sisters, Lola Ann Rogers, Linda Wainwright, Bonnie Jackson, and Sherrel Lewis; her brothers, Bobby Lewis, Eldred Lewis Jr, George Lewis, and T. J. Lewis; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Steven Lewis Smith; her sister, Hazel Lewis; and her brothers, Carl Lewis and John C. Lewis.
Graveside service will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with George Maloney officiating. Serving as casketbearers will be Steven Currey, Bobby Lewis, Tim Lewis, Rick Currey, John Lewis, and Rodney Jackson.
