William Anglin

William Milton "Mike" Anglin, age 90, passed away at home on Thursday, October 12, 2017. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 16, 2017 at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home with Rev. David Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Military honors will be observed at the gravesite by the VFW Post 4075. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, 2017.

Mr. Anglin was born on March 18, 1927 to the late Charles and Pearl Miller Anglin. He was united in marriage to Celestus May Robinson Anglin, who also preceded him in death. He was a WWII Veteran of the United States Navy. At the age of 82, Mike retired from the Kentucky State Government Department of Revenue after 24 years of service. He enjoyed time outdoors and was an avid golfer and fisherman. Mike never lost an argument. He never turned down a good meal. No matter where he went, he was known by someone, and loved by all. Above all, he loved his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Anglin and by his siblings.

He is survived by his children, Janice Pulliam (Hoss), Michael Anglin, Charles Steven Anglin (Nina), Debra Keith (Junior), Crystal Amburgey, Rita Anglin (Glenn), and Tony Anglin (Becky); his 20 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren. He was also blessed with many wonderful friends and golf and fishing buddies.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tony Anglin, Charles Steven Anglin, Michael Anglin, Hoss Pulliam, Junior Keith and Brandon Anglin. Honorary will be Glenn Wooldridge, Jeremy Sargent, Gary Sargent, Michael Anglin and Justin Anglin.
