Obituary for William Henry "Bill" Davies III
Frankfort - William Henry "Bill" Davies III, age 69, passed away at home on February 28, 2017. Services for Mr. Davies will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Dr. Jackson Brewer officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home from 11:30 a.m. until the service hour on Monday.
Mr. Davies was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on September 3, 1947 to the late William Henry Davies, Jr. and Cleo Louise Douglas Davies. He was retired from the Kentucky State Government Department of Treasury.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Duane Alan Davies.
He is survived by his son, Keith Scott (Jessica) Davies, of Georgetown; daughter, Lisa (Chad) Dutton, of Daphne, Alabama; brother, Doug (Rachel) Davies, of Louisville; and sister, Kim Kubicina, of Mt. Dora, Florida. He was also blessed with four grandchildren, William Henry Davies IV, Taylor Hope Davies, Sam Dutton and Mason Dutton.
Flowers are welcome and expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Heart Association, 354 Waller Ave #110, Lexington, KY 40504.
Arrangements are under the direction of Harrod Brothers Funeral Home.
